I have been approved by the Bar Council to undertake public access work. This means that individuals or companies can come to me without the assistance of a solicitor.
Employment law is an ideal fit with public access work. This is because very many of my clients are able to prepare the papers themselves so that I can advise as to the merits either in writing or in conference. I am happy to provide an advice by email that will explain in plain
language the merits and prospects of success. This will include tactical advice on how to achieve the result you want.
I will respond
quickly and guarantee that my advice will be thorough, sensible and practical. I will
explain things clearly and advise on the steps that need to be taken to secure a positive outcome.
I can negotiate on your behalf with other parties and in many cases use my influence and experience to obtain a successful settlement without the need for a trial. In my experience two thirds of all employment disputes settle rather than go to trial. I am persuasive and highly skilled in legal analysis and deductive reasoning.
I am able to meet with you in my chambers in Manchester, Liverpool, Chester or Sheffield or visit you at your premises.
I am happy to agree a fixed fee or flexible funding arrangement in
advance. Issues of funding can be discussed with my clerk Chris Shaw on 0161 214 1500 or by email at chris.shaw@stjohnsbuildings.co.uk
